• So I do like AIOSEO but I’m really annoyed right now. They entice you to use their FAQ block, but don’t make clear that the FAQ block won’t be recognised as a FAQ by search engines unless you pay for the Pro version to get the actual FAQ markup. I understand they want to make money, and I’m fine with that. But I’m not fine with this kind of bait and switch where they lead you into thinking something is going to work without paying, then say oh wait, you have to pay. I was actually going to pay for the Pro version, but ust because of this, I’ll look for a free FAQ plugin, and not pay for AIOSEO.

    Hi @ch3252,

I’m sorry this wasn’t made clear in our plugin and documentation. It wasn’t our intention to hide this or “bait and switch” users.

I’ll discuss this with our team to make sure we do make it clear what’s included as part of the FAQ Block and what’s required to display the FAQ Schema.
