This error basically states, that your Elementor and Elementor PRO versions are either mismatched or too old. Usually updating both of these plugins solves the issue.

If your host does not provide a remote plugin update option (without access to wp-admin), you could simply disable these plugins from the file level.

To achieve this:
1. Log in to a file manager of your host.
2. Navigate through the files like this: (Visit your WordPress installation path, in your case it is /home/customer/www/learnastheyplay.co.uk/public_html)
3. Navigate through these folders: /wp-content -> /plugins
4. In this Plugins folder, you may locate your Elementor and Elementor PRO folders.
5. To disable these plugins, you can rename the entire folder into anything else, for example, “elementor-disabled” and “elementor-pro-disabled”

This way, these plugins will become inactive, and you should have the wp-admin access regained.

Usually, such errors are solved using SSH, where you can remotely connect to your files, and update the plugins using a few commands, although, the plugin disabling option may be a better solution for you.

Since you’re unable to access the dashboard, you need to delete the folder for the plugin in question from your hosting server in order to get rid of the plugin.

To do this use FTP or web-based File Manager (both provided by your hosting provider, Siteground) to access your WordPress site files, and navigate to /wp-content/plugins/.

Here you’ll find various folders: delete the one corresponding to the plugin you want to get rid of, eg: elementor for the Elementor plugin, elementor-pro for the Elementor Pro — the or commercial version of the Elementor plugin, etc.

i have approached the forum to ask for hel, been told to get in touch with elementor pro help, been told by them that i need a subscription, bought a subscription, they bounce me through automated help but do not allow me access to a human or help, still do not have access to wp dashboard, was warned about this with wp, still believe in this product but am having a miserable time of it,

Every product has a learning curve: the more capable and customizable product, the higher the learning curve will be in the hands of complete newbies (especially if you want to use the more advanced features or want to add on extra stuff not included with the core product).

In your case, the problem you’re having — as the error message you posted clearly shows — relates to the 3rd-party COMMERCIAL plugin used on your site, Elementor PRO.

WordPress support volunteers here do not have access to any commercial themes or plugins. As such we’re unable to even install the said commercial product, let alone dive into the code and offer any assistance. That’s why you were asked to contact the vendor of the commercial product you were using. They built and sold the product, and they should be in the best position to help their customers.

In your other post, you mentioned that the Elementor Pro plugin was included in a template you used. Please note that a fresh copy of WordPress downloaded from www.remarpro.com NEVER includes Elementor Pro or any 3rd-party developer’s commercial product. How you ended up with this “template” — that’s something I can’t get my head around.

Thank you for answer all. I actually figured this out through frustration / logic. just now. I was going down the route of removing my hosting from wp (or the other way around) and saw a delete plugins button.
