After the last update, 4.7.11, I noticed an issue with “Show cached HTML pages list.”

Before the update, the page would populate quickly with pages added to the cache by the preloader.

Also, I often run a broken link check after purging the cache, and it would quickly populate the page.

Now, there are no pages appearing in the list. Or, at least only appearing slowly after an external web visit. If I visit a few pages not logged in, the pages also don’t appear.

I think it’s only a reporting issue, as when I check with Dev Tools, all the pages show a HIT.

Can you check if there is an issue with this?

Edit: Just to be sure, I rolled back to version Version 4.7.10 on one site, and the “Show cached HTML pages list” loads pages correctly and quickly after purging the cache.

So it’s definitely an issue with the new update.

Hi, I don’t think that section received any updates in the latest release. It is only supposed to populate the pages for which the server has received a request.

Thanks for getting back on this.

I’ve tried swapping versions, 4.7.10 and 4.7.11 a few times, and there’s definitely a difference in perfomance.

The new version is much slower to populate, and misses many hits, even from the preloader.

    Can you take a look?

OK. I will open a github issue about this doe the dev team to look at this.

I just tried again with the new version. It seemed to populate better than when I last tried.

However, there are plenty of errors showing on my server. Here’s a couple of examples.

@bobsled, I had the same issue and have rolled back to 4.7.10. @isaumya was this already resolved in 4.7.12?

    Thread Starter bobsled

    (@bobsled)

I’m still seeing PHP errors on my site with 4.7.12, @urbancowboy1994

But my other site using 4.7.10 is showing no errors.

So I don’t belive the lastest update has addressed the issue. Hopefully, there will be a further update to resolve the issue.

I’ve had to rollback my sites to 4.7.10 @isaumya

Both new versions create a stream of hundreds of PHP errors on my server. I noted a couple of examples in an earlier message.

Hopefully, there’s a fix coming soon for this.

    Hi,
Can you please share the exact PHP fatal errors that you are receiving? The above logs you have shared doesn’t seems to be fatal errors.

    Thread Starter bobsled

    (@bobsled)

No, they are not fatal PHP errors, only a message. So it’s not a make or break issue.

But they are occururing very often as you can see from the time stamps below.

Let me know if you need any more details.

These are fastCGI errors and not PHP fatal errors. You need to look at why the fastCGI server is giving errors.

    Thread Starter bobsled

    (@bobsled)

    How do I do that?

    Plugin Contributor iSaumya

    (@isaumya)

If you are using managed hosting then you should contact your host to dig into it and provide logs/reasons behind why it’s failing,

    Thread Starter bobsled

    (@bobsled)

I can. But surely this must be an issue with the plugin, since this is not occuring with any version up to 4.7.10.

    What’s changed?

To me, it’s not logical to chase this with my host as yet, when the issue seems be clearly related to the plugin update.

Can you check what’s changed with the plugin first?

    Plugin Contributor iSaumya

    (@isaumya)

In order to know which part of the plugin causing issue it is important to know exactly what the issue is.
