Minimum role to review submission has only wordpress basic roles, but not all the list of plugin created roles. In documentation it says we can select the role of teacher or instructor but even we have any other plugin, their respective roles are not visible.

You need to add in all author capabilities in order for this to work when you select minimum role as author.
But even then the author is not able to approve or reject. Don’t know why it is happening.
The documentation lacks a lot about how the plugin works and how to use this setting.
