    Hii,

    We are developing our website and we are using you’re plugin for our minimum quantity and quantity step. We like to have a minimum quantity of 5 by our product only know it comes after we set the variantions of the product. But we would like to have it before the customer set the variations of the product. Can you tell us how to do this???

    Greetings,

    Ton.

    Hi @ton-krijgsman,

    Not sure if I understood the issue correctly, but there is “Force initial quantity on single product page” option in “WooCommerce > Settings > Product Quantity > General Options”. Could you please try setting it to “Force to min quantity”.

    Hii,

    i did try that, but it is not working. We have a product with variations (like differences sizes) Only before that the customer have set this variations there is no minimum quantity. How can i fix this?

    Maybe you understand what i mean when you visite my link: https://test.tkboilies.nl/product/pink-creamer-readymades/

    first you see that you can order 1 product, but i like to start with 5. But after choosing de varation, like ”boilies” and ”Diameter 14mm”. Than you see the number change to 5.

    Can you tell me how to set de 5 before the customer set the variations??

    i hope to hear from you soon.

    Greetings

    Ton.

    Hii,

    We don’t have the same problem, because where we select the variarions the quantity does show. I want to have it showed before i select the quantities.

    I hope to hear a solution for this problem.

    Greetings,

    Ton

    HI @ton-krijgsman,

    Thats what we have to. We start by 1000 but for select a variation he start by a quantitie of 1. If you select the variations he go to 1000.

    Hi @ton-krijgsman and @brandinwebdesign,

    Ok, I see the problem now. Already solving it… Meanwhile – not sure if this will be good enough – but if you set the default variation (i.e. “Default Form Values” on product’s edit page in Variations tab) then it solves the task – min quantity is displayed at once as you open product page.

    @ton-krijgsman @brandinwebdesign,

    Follow up question – how are you setting min quantity? I mean is it “All products” or “Per product”. I’ve already fixed it for “All products”, but it’s a little bit harder for “Per product”. The problem is as variable product is not a “real” product (i.e. it can’t be added to the cart; only its variations can be added), it doesn’t have min quantity. So for the moment the only solution I can think of is adding one more field to set min quantity for variable product (i.e. so you would set min quantity for each variation and for main/variable product separately). Please let me know what you think.

    Hi @ton-krijgsman @brandinwebdesign,

    We’ve recently released new plugin version 1.7.0. Could you please test it now? If you are using “All products” option – it should be fixed right away. If you are using “Per product” – there is new “Main variable product” field for the min quantity on product’s admin edit page (in “Product Quantity” meta box) – if you fill that, it will force min qty before any variation is selected to this value.

    Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any questions or if something is not working as expected.

    @algoritmika,

    I have update the plugin. What i see now is it working fine!

    Hi @brandinwebdesign,

    Thanks for testing. I’m marking thread as resolved then.
