Minimum Order for Delivery Plus Delivery charge

    Hi,

    Awesome plugin. The site I have currently installed this on is

    It works great. The owner has however asked me to configure for the following use case.

    1 – Only offer delivery when order when item totals is $20 without taxes.
    2- Order is made available for pick up even if order is below $20. In other words cart activates the delivery option after the above minimum.
    3 – Add a fixed delivery charge of $2.99 after the order is eligible for delivery.

    I couldn’t do this with current options. This is basically saying that there needs to be minimum order for delivery eligibility which will still have a charge. Order pickup is however available at any price point and has no charge.

    I have used the following option

    20 minimum order value [will disable “place order” button in cart and order page until set order value (before any discounts etc) has been reached. 0 to disable.]
    Customer can still choose “self-pickup” (if enabled / applicable).

    and self pickup is enabled.

    But when i try the cart with this setting. It doesnot let user do self pickup if the order is below $20 i.e. The send order remains disabled even when self pickup is chosen. Only after $20 is reached the send order is available and delivery will add delivery charge and pick up will remove delivery charge.

    you are right, this kind of thing is not implemented at the moment.

    i can see why this would make sense though and will put it on my list of things to do

    Thanks, I am currently not use the above option where cart can not be ordered unless $20 is reached. And I am seeing what the store owner is saying, it is encouraging people to make atleast $30 orders, the average order has changed without impacting volume of orders, which makes it worth their while for delivery. Now only when you figure out how to apply the minimum order amount to only delivery will it bring the best value here for the shop.
