Minimum and Maximum Characters on Text Field

    Is there any bit of code I can put in to make a regular text field (not text area) have a maximum of 10 characters (not words) in it? But only in certain text areas. Not all.

    I already bought the pro version, which has those options (but in words instead of characters) which works great. It’s just now I need a way to add code, to do this with characters, in a regular text field.

    Yep, you can do this pretty easily.

    In the CSS option for your field, add the following: {minlength:10}

    That’s it!

    I know that you are saying CSS Option, but on VFB Pro you only have CSS Class. Not option. And when I add the class and then go to my style sheet to add {minlength} or {maxlength} it does not restrict the user in the field.

    Where is this CSS Option and if it does not exist, how am I to limit my characters?
