Minimatica Sticky Footer
-
Hey everyone,
I’m currently working with the Minimatica theme and have come very close to getting it how I want. Unfortunately, I just can’t seem to wrap my head around applying a sticky footer to the theme. I’m attempting to use the method featured here:
Obviously, with some adjustments to account for the way some of the Minimatica divs are already named. While this does force the footer to the bottom of the page, it adds a huge margin between the bottom of the gallery and the menu categories and cuts off the sides of the background around the slider.
I can tell I’m on the right track, but not quite there. I’m fairly certain this is all because of some of the added margins already in the stylesheet and the way that the added divs are interfering with divs already in place. Unfortunately, I’m a little new to WordPress and CSS (how sick are you all of hearing that?), and I just can’t seem to find the source(s) of the trouble.
Has anyone else had any luck establishing a sticky footer to Minimatica? Any info or insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance, everyone.
