Just upgraded. When I click to view a comment, the sidebar disappears. However, the side appears normally on archive pages and static pages. Not sure what to look for or where to look to solve the problem. The problem persists whether or not plugins are activated. I’m using Minima Plus 1.0 template. (See https://www.healingspirit.com/journal for example of problem)

  • I use a completely dif template system and my sidebar naturally disappears on a comments page anyway. Are you sure this isn’t supposed to happen? :o)

by the way, I’m seeing your header links all screwy and to the left in firefox

I fixed my sidebar problem (it did not natually disappear before). The problem was I still had some code in the comments.php file that referred to the Spelling Checker plugin which I deactivated and doesn’t work with 2.0 anyway. Perhaps the problem you’re having is also related to something missing or not quite right with your comments page template.

Ilione, thanks for the heads up on Firefox–I was unaware of that.

I think the sidebar doesn’t appear as default on a comments page (someone set me straight if that’s wrong lol) my old 1.5.2 WP with kubrick is the same.

Np about firefox, what browser are you using? if it’s IE then have you checked your site in safari for Mac too?

This will take a screen cap of your site from a Mac users point of view, I’ve found it really handy!

Mines broken in IE atm lol

Glad you sorted the problem anyway :o)
