Let me know if you want me to enable minify again on my live test site so you can see the issue that occurs.

    Thanks,

    Harvey

    Okay thank you,

If you go to https://camerabeanbags.co.uk/test/shop/ you can see the price filter on the right, this is a scroll filter bar, when i enable minify with JS the scroll bar filter changes to just text boxes, i have tried adding

    wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/assets/js/frontend/price-slider.min.js
    wp-includes/js/jquery/ui/slider.min.js

to the ‘Never minify the following JS files:’ but the issue is still there which you can see now. Any ideas on how to fix this as well?

    Hi Ben,

    Okay i understand that.

    1. So within W3 Total Cache is there anyway to just combine the JS and this not break my site? Is there any other configurations i can try?

    2. Would you suggest using W3 Total Cache for everything and you plugin just for the JS combining, or use you Plugin for all caching and optimization?

    3. Do you have any idea on how i can have CSS minifiaction enabled without it breaking my site? Or to have it combined without it breaking my site?

    Thanks,

    Harvey

Maybe. But it is also possible that your JavaScript has some error somewhere which makes it impossible to merge it.

    2. Would you suggest using W3 Total Cache for everything and your plugin just for the JS combining, or use you Plugin for all caching and optimization?

That is not possible. It’s a little bit like anti virus software. You can not run two at the same time, they will interfere with each other. So I would recommend you to try my plugin for everything.

    3. Do you have any idea on how i can have CSS minifiaction enabled without it breaking my site? Or to have it combined without it breaking my site?

First you should try to merge them before you activate minification. The import handling “bubble” setting is mandatory.

    Hi Ben,

    1. Okay i will give your plugin a try and hopefully it keep my good speeds for page caching. Literally all i need to do now is reduce my requests to speed my site up. Do you have the plugin on the wordpress plugin store if not i will download later when Im at home.

    2. Also what do you mean by merging them first? If this something that W3 Total Cache can do?

    3. Is there any other alternatives you could walk me through if all else fails on how to combine my CSS and JS and reduce my requests?

    Thanks,

    Harvey
