I have already disabled the plugin as it rendered both the menus incorrectly, not being compact but instead being listed. It also borked the slideshow at the top of the page and a carousel at the bottom. Proof of this is that at the bottom of the page where it also listed all the pages for the site, it showed Hummingbird > Show page unminified and upon clicking it the site would load correctly. I attempted to disable the Asset Optimizations for CSS and JS files, however that did not correct the problem either. So I completely disabled it. After paying for Pro I am not happy about this issue.

    Hi @jeromuhi

I’m sorry to hear about the issues!

I understand that you disabled Asset Optimization currently but please note that without actually seeing the issue (to be able to look into page source code and related resources) it’s a bit difficult to diagnose the case.

Usually, however, this means that Asset Optimization requires some additional tweaking. On “Hummingbird -> Asset Optimization” page there’s a switch from “Automatic” to “manual” mode so if “Automatic” is currently set, you can switch to “Manual” (make sure to use “Apply configurations” option while doing that) and then try to disable combine/compress options for selected resources that might be involved in this.

If you have any staging/dev site that’s available publicly, that would be of great help – you could enable Asset Optimization there point us to that site and we could then look into it to see if we can suggest which assets should be tweaked.

    Would that be possible?

    Please note though:
You have mentioned “paying for Pro”. If you are using Pro version of the plugin, we cannot support it here. In such case please go directly to our support at https://premium.wpmudev.org/ to open support ticket and we’ll assist you there.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

@wpmudev-support8 I attempted on the dev site, however when attempting to install the plugin I receive a failure to respond error. I would put it up on the live version, however I have a marketing team that would notify me immediately and then that would be a debacle. I will do just that though and try to manually set asset optimization one by one and see if I can sort out what exactly is going on and causing the issues.
