    Hi

my woocommerce mini cart keeps displaying buttons and text in english instead of the language, I have selected in WordPress (German).

In the block editor, the language is correct, but not in the frontend.

Does anyone have an idea what I can do?

    Many thanks.

  • Hi @microteq

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that there are some text strings on your site that are translated correctly in back-end, however, not working as expected in front-end, correct?

Could you please provide us with a clear screenshot of what you’re seeing on your end? This will help us better understand your situation and address your concerns more effectively.

If you don’t already have a screenshot service installed, you can try https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

Furthermore, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

    • System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
    • Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

Once we have more information, we’ll be able to assist you further.

    Hi

Here are the links to the screen shots:

    https://snipboard.io/WhNie3.jpg (frontend, wrong language)

    https://snipboard.io/HLst90.jpg (backend, correct)

As I have already changed everything that I coud, it seems to display correctly on the frontend, but all the buttons and the title are normaly also wrong. There is still a sentence left that I coud not change, directly unter ‘Zwischensumme’ and also ‘n items’, instead of ‘n Artikel’.

    Many thanks.

Where can I send the link to the status report?

    Many thanks and best regards.

    Hi @microteq ,

Where can I send the link to the status report?

You can share the link directly in your response here ??

    Cheers!

Isn’t this too much critical information to be published on a forum?

    Best regards.

    Hi @microteq ,

It is safe to share this here, however, if there is any information you do not want to share publicly, you can redact that prior to sharing it.

Alternatively, if you prefer, you can upload the system status report by using Pastebin. This way you can provide us with the link, keep the file visible for a few days while we check into the issue and then delete it.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi

So this is the link to the sysetm report: https://pastebin.com/EQZH56x9

Please tell me, when you have downloaded it, so I can delete it, when it is not used anymore.

    Best regards.

    Hello @microteq,

Thanks for sending over the logs! I saved them in our system. Feel free to go ahead and delete them from your end. :?)

I tried reproducing the issue on my test site, but it seems like the widget is translating just fine, as you can see below.

I took a look at your logs and noticed that your theme doesn’t declare official support for WooCommerce. Would you mind trying to switch to Storefront to see if that solves the problem?

Let us know how it goes!
