Mini Cart custom Checkout URL?

  • Hi Woo !

    i want to ask, if is possible to set custom URL in mini cart instead of default /checkout when user add product into cart, and when go to mini-cart in header, i want to set custo TOS page, where user first will accept TOS, and then by pressing button will be redirected to /checkout to finalize order. Is possible this? Thanks

    This is possible to do, but will take some customization on your part. Seems a bit un-necessary IMO though, and only having the TOS there may not be legal – as a user could still find their way to the checkout page and checkout without ever accepting the TOS.

    That said, you can do this by customization either the mini-cart function or template. It depends on how your theme has implemented it. If you need help with the code, you may want to consider hiring a developer:

    There may be a filter to change the url / add buttons to the mini-cart, depends on the theme.

    What you want though is going to require a lot more work than just a simple filter.
