• OK, OK… I know this has been asked several times before, ive read all those posts. But I am here to say that I still have no idea how to do change the images on this slider. Nearly all these posts end in “oh yeah! That was easy!” but either I am a complete idiot, or my UI is not showing me things.

Here is where I get hung up:
    1. I go to the Customizing/Theme Options/Homepage section.
    2. Scroll down to find the Enable Homepage Slider, make sure ThinkUpSlider is checked. It is. There are 3 options here: ThinkUpSlider, Custom Slider and Disable. ThinkUpSlider is checked.
    3. What now?

I’ve seen posts that say click the ‘add slide’ button or something but I do not have this button.

    More on this:
I found this screenshot of the ThinkUP Slider. https://demo.thinkupthemes.com/spirits/files/2014/02/thinkupslider-home2.png

I do NOT have the section in this UI that’s labeled “built in slider” which has the Add Slide button. I do however, have a section in my UI that is labeled “Homepage Slider Shortcode” which is NOT on the above screenshot.

    Can anyone help?

@kevinnations Did you ever figure this out? I just downloaded this theme and ran into the same issue.

    #bump

The “theme options” component has been changed within WordPress so it is now nested under the general options tab within the theme’s customization.

So it appears now that the slider control tab is missing and is found no-where.

I can see that we can hack around this by replacing the sample images in wp-content/themes/minamaze/images/slideshow/ – (naming your new images slide_demo1.png, slide_demo2.png, slide_demo3.png)

Is there a less sloppy way to do this? Is anyone listening?
