We have been using this plugin for a while and it has been working fine. We have just discovered that the settings no longer work. The product I have tested on our staging site is https://screedgiantstg.wpengine.com/product/ronacrete-ronascreed-fast-dry-prompt-20l-x-24-full-pallet/
    The site versions.
WC Min Max Quantities ver 2.0.6
    WooCommerce ver 9.5.2
    WordPress ver 6.7.1

This is really bad news, any idea why the plugin would suddenly stop working and is there a debug for tracing issues.

I had hoped to add some screen shots to back up what I have described but don’t see an option to upload images? The product above should be a min 1 pallet of £66 x 24 = £1584 but displays £66!

Look forward to hearing from you

    Regards

    Malcolm

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us.

We understand from your message that you have 24 items in one pallet, each priced at $66, and you wish to sell one pallet at a time. To achieve this, you need to configure the product as follows:

    1. Set the product’s?minimum quantity?to 24.
    2. Set the?quantity step count?to 24, ensuring customers can only purchase in multiples of 24 (i.e., one pallet or more).

Once configured, the product price on the Product Details page will display $66, representing the price per item, which is WooCommerce’s default behavior. However, when customers add the minimum quantity (24 items) to their cart, the total price—calculated as $66 × 24 = $1,584—will appear on the Cart page.

Please feel free to reach out if you require further assistance with this setup or encounter any issues.

We hope this clarifies your concerns. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can help with.

    Hi Maruf Hossain

Thank you for your quick response. I have set the Minimum Quantity to 24 and the Quantity Step Count to 24. Updated the product and tested. The test failed as cart had £66. I then tried setting the Min, Max and step to 24, still failed.

I do have, Exclude this product from all Min/Max rules and Global Min/Max rules will be overridden by local settings if checked although this box needs to be checked for the rules to be entered.

I do not understand what is going on as it was working fine and then it stopped on the live site and staging. I also have a dev site and it doesn’t work on that either. I am using two different hosting platforms and now am looking toward removing the plugin but would like to discover what has happened.

    Regards

As we discussed in our website’s dedicated support system, our development team rigorously investigated the issue and determined that the problem you experienced was caused by caching and preloaded files on your site, particularly from WP Rocket. This caching behavior affected the frontend functionality and interfered with the proper operation of WC Min Max Quantities.

We would like to emphasize that our plugin is widely used by numerous WooCommerce stores, and other users have reported no similar issues. Additionally, our extensive testing across various sites has confirmed that WC Min Max Quantities functions as intended without any conflicts.

Since the issue is not related to WC Min Max Quantities, we will proceed to close this ticket.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Thank you for your response.

I struggle to understand that WP Rocket is labelled as the sole cause of this issue as this is running on a live shop and due to the error has caused financial loss.  One of the first actions we take is to clear all caches, try using a different browsers logged in and logged out.  This is all before we look for other issues that might cause an issue.  The plugin was working fine and why it should suddenly change we do not know and do not accept your conclusion.  If a plugin works as your Min Max does then any issues or faults should be clearly identified with an error response so the users clearly knows there is an issue and feed back to admin.

Thank you for investigating the problem and good luck in the future.  We wont be using your Min Max plugin any further.
