migration to v4, website slow and Apache errors

I have migrated a staging site of an existing production site from v3.11.14 to v4.0.3. The site seems to be running slower and there are Apache errors in the server logs all similar to;

	AH01071: Got error 'PHP message: WordPress database error Duplicate column name 'compare_support' for query ALTER TABLE wpvividstg01_estatik_fb_fields ADD compare_support INT(1) made by require('wp-load.php'), require_once('wp-config.php'), require_once('wp-settings.php'), do_action('init'), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, Es_Migrations::execute'

I have not noticed any errors or functions not working, just slower response.

Please advise any steps to take to test and fix this.
