Migration successful, however, some references were not adapted

I used this plugin a couple of times and I’m always excited, how fast and easy it works.
Just recently we found out that although most of the references to the old domain were properly migrated to the new domain, some were left unchanged and thus the related pages were not loaded. This happened in all references of tablepress tables and in some other cases. The problem can easily be resolved using a suitable plugin such as Search & Replace.
I wonder, whether this is a known issue or a new observation.
