I am having trouble restoring backups. I’ve tried a few, but they always fail. It used to work so well! Here is a sample code. BMI-7F8GSrXp-35386

    Hi @kvarnelis

In first place please make sure our plugin is enabled on both websites at the same time.

    This message may appear when:
    a) Your backup is broken or incomplete
    b) URL your provided in Super-Quick Migration does not point to backup file
    c) Backup URL is protected by your hosting or some security plugin

Please, in first place check if backup you’ve created is visible in our plugin settings – backup(s) list.
That list can display only valid backups and if it’s not there it may mean it’s not restorable.
It can be caused by damaged files included in the backup, commonly from other backup plugins.

In any case, make new backup with these settings applied:
Open first section of the plugin named: “What will be backed up?”
Find subsection named: “Exclude by folder / file name (case-sensitive)”
Here add these three rules, like on image: https://prnt.sc/9oftADPd_Z7e
    – Save first section once you do that

    Then follow these steps:
    1. Go to “Other options” section
    2. Change backup method: https://prnt.sc/1s1ofpa
    3. Disable PHP CLI checking: https://prnt.sc/1sljr31
    4. Enable alternate download method: https://prnt.sc/1slr41w
    5. Save “Other options” section
    6. Force stop both processes: https://prnt.sc/1trv1tm

Once backup finish, check if it’s visible on backup(s) list and copy backup URL from here.

Go to the website where you want to restore that backup:
    1. Go to “Other options” section
    2. Disable PHP CLI checking: https://prnt.sc/1sljr31
    3. Save “Other options” section
    4. Force stop both processes: https://prnt.sc/1trv1tm

Now you can start restoration with Super-Quick Migration module once again.

If that won’t work, please repeat the “force both processes to stop” step.
Once you do that, download your backup and try to upload it manually.

You can upload your backup via FTP, cPanel or our Upload Area.

Let me know if that resolves your issue ??
    Thank you!

I tried again and followed your instructions. It failed.

Oh! I hadn’t done the exclusions, force quitting or alternate download. The latter didn’t work so I just did what I did before, I transferred the file from one directory to another (it’s on the same server). And I had success. Thank you!
