Migration quirks with theme Imbalance2

  • Maybe someone can help me with ironing out some quirks while migrating ?Imbalance2? theme (great theme by wpshower.com) from wordpress.com to self-hosted? I’m a WP newbie with reasonable CSS knowledge. I have imported data like images and posts etc to the new WP installation and except for 2 details everything looks fine.

    A branding image needs to be placed in the home page header instead of the site-name (image replacement technique I guess) and one menu item should display its subgategories again. The parent has been indicated but somehow subitems are not visible while hovering over the menu item anymore.

    You’ll see the header section with the missing image and not-fly-out menu there.
