Migration problem for WCMP

  • Hi team!
    I contacted your support team last month to migrate from WCMP to WCMF and they sent me the link to this free plugin to do the migration.

    I tried to migrate my vendors and products following your instructions below, but I get the following message:

    “WCFM Marketplace Migrator is inactive. Please install & activate your old multi-vendor plugin.”

    In fact I have not de-activated my old multi-vendor yet, so I don′t know why I am required to activate it again?

    Can you please help me with the migration?
    I only have 8 vendors but with more than 400 products

  • hi, same problem here using the latest version. Is this plugin still working?

    Ok. Despite lack of response from Author Team & the error notice. Anyone else having problem migrating from WCMp can try my solutions below.

    Please only try this once full backup is done & on staging site.
    1. Just follow this plugin instructions.
    2. Ignore the error.
    3. Go to Users, and change all existing users with Vendor role to Store Vendor role.
    4. Go to your WCFM dashboard and check your vendor list if all the vendor is there along with their products, etc.
    5. Confirm everything is good (can edit the vendors, etc)
    6. delete WCMp & Migrator plugin.
