Migration of Subdomain To Root

I have WPFastestCache set up on my subdomain, but not on the root domain. I want to migrate the subdomain to root domain and according to hosting service they are saying that I may run into an issue with redirects set up by WPFastestCache on test.secodamgt.com. According to host, “you have a redirect set up in the .htaccess which might cause you problems. There are several of them at the beginning of the /domains/test.secodamgt.com/html/.htaccess”

I want to make sure when I migrate test.secodamgt.com (subdomain) to sedcodamgt.com (root) that it goes smoothly.

Can you advise me on what I should do in this migration? I’m not a developer… just a marketing person who dabbles in wordpress website development.

** I need to migrate subdomain by Wednesday or site crashes due to old infrastructure not supported by new php hosting requirements.
