Hi, I’ve been encountering a strange problem while trying to migrate a local website. I’m using MAMP Pro on macOS Sierra, running PHP 5.6.10.

I’ve made several attempts to run a package, which all end up failing with a 500 error without any message displayed. I’ve read through all the KB topics, but none of the suggested solutions appear to apply to my situation.

Running the scan returns the following, as you can see it counts NO files or directories:
    Scan Path: /Users/[user]/Sites/[site]/
    Scan Results
    Files:
    Dirs:
    Unreadable Files:
    No Unreadable items found
    Symbolic Links:
    No Sym-links found

Any suggestions on potential resolution welcome.

  • Hey @genyus,

Thanks for the feedback! If your tried the “Scan Validator” from the Tools > Diagnostics tab, there is currently a bug in the 1.2.8. If you can give the developer version a try it may have the updates for your issue. The very latest version (1.2.9) can be found by following these instructions:

    -> Download Latest Version
-> Uninstall your current version and install this one.

Let me know if this helps to pin-point any issues with the scanner…

    Thanks

    Hi @corylamleorg,
Apologies for the slow reply. I installed the 1.2.9 update and while it was then able to complete the validator scan, package builds still failed with the same error.

After some further experimentation, I found an out-of-memory error being raised and realising that WordFence was activated (this being an instance migrated from a live site), I disabled that and then all was good!

Thanks for your assist, much appreciated.

    Thanks for the update!

    Cheers~
