Migration issue

I recently migrated some wordpress sites from one hosting account to another (both on Godaddy, I know we’re looking to move to another provider in a few months). The migration went fine, but now I’m unable to make any changes to the sites. By that I mean if I try to change some text or an email address in a contact form. I imported the databases to the new ones and added the correct info in the wp-config files, then moved them over. I did export the content from the sites using the wp export as a backup. I’m considering deleting everything that’s on the sites now and reimporting it using the wp export files. Thoughts?
