• Hi,

The recipe plugin I’m currently using for my site is slowing it down a lot, so I’m looking for a better alternative.

What’s the total size of the plugin on the frontend? Do you you load scripts and stylesheets on all pages, or only on recipe pages?

How could I migrate all my recipes? I have about 300 recipes on my site.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

We load 1 CSS file (22KB) and 1 JS field (106KB) and only on pages that actually include a recipe.

Unfortunately we do not have an importer for WP Delicious at the moment and there are a few other priorities right now.

Technically it would be possible to code your own?Custom Recipe Importer, but it would require some development. Alternatively the?Import recipe from text?feature could help speed things up when moving recipes over manually.

Jeez well the plugin I use now is loading over 1000Kb across my whole site…

Any direction on how a migration could be done? Do you by any chance have a snippet/coding example?

If I get the premium version, can the migration be done for me?

    Thank you

We do have some example code for the importer if you want to try building one yourself:

I’m afraid the Premium version doesn’t offer a hands-on migration either. My main concern is that I don’t enough hours in a days, which is why I haven’t been able to build the WP Delicious importer yet.

Take note that the Premium plugin will add some of its own CSS and JS as well, for the extra functionality. But we do try to keep things to a minimum.
