    Good day folks,

We are using the pirate forms and would like to migrate to the wpforms, but we have encounter some issues with the customization, as the theme (zelle) has its own contact form that was adjusted with pirate forms.

Could anyone provide some guidance to do this smoothly and effectively?

In advance, thank you for your help and interest.

    Hi @copiaurbietorbi,

Could you let me know if you’ve completed your migration from Pirate Forms to WPForms? If not, you can start with our tutorial, how to move from Pirate Forms to WPForms.

And if you have completed migration to WPForms, could you let me know more details on the form customizations that you’d like to achieve in WPForms?

    Thanks!

    Hello Ethan,

Thank you for getting back to us. We made the migration but the form we created with pirate forms is not there. I am guessing that we may need to create a new one with wpforms.

We use zelle by themeisle for our website. The theme comes with a contact us form that we want to keep using. We have invisible recaptcha and we would like to try the new Honeypot feature that comes with wpforms to stop spam form submissions as well.

I can share the website with you as long it is on a private message. We are grateful for the help we have received on the forums here, but sometimes we get unsolicited requests and more spam when we share our information publically.

Thank you for your help and interest.

    Hi @copiaurbietorbi,

    Thanks for sharing those details!

If you’ve used the migration tool in Pirate Forms to move to WPForms Lite, the forms created in Pirate Forms are not available for import into WPForms Lite, there may be some incompatibility issues unfortunately.

However the good news is that it is quick and easy to create forms in WPForms Lite. In case it helps, we have a detailed guide on how to create your first form.

You can set up reCAPTCHA in WPForms. The honeypot option is enabled by default, you can see this when you go to the form builder > Settings > General (please see this screenshot).

I apologize as www.remarpro.com rules do not allow us to provide private support for plugins in the www.remarpro.com repository, which WPForms Lite is. If you’d like more help with using WPForms Lite, please let us know here and we’d be happy to help.

And if you’d like to access our email support, you can consider purchasing a WPForms license.

Please let me know if you’ve any questions.

    Thanks!

    Good day Ethan,

We followed the instructions you provided and we created a new basic contact form on a new page and performed a few tests.

We are not sure how to integrate this form with the form that comes from the theme, so your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @copiaurbietorbi,

Thanks for the update. We don’t have integrations with theme forms or other plugin forms currently.

However, if you’d like to display a form created with WPForms Lite on your site, you can easily do so. Please see our tutorial for more information.

Please let me know if you’ve any other questions.

    Thanks!

    Hello Ethan,

Thank you for the update. We will continue using pirate forms meanwhile we review other options and we find the best way to migrate then.
