Migration from Mqtranslate -> (visual) editor problems

    After migrating from mqtranslate I’m having problems in the editor.
    In Visual mode the content is looking very messy (enters are ignored, everything is displayed after another, no white spaces, no breaks, new lines etc.)
    In Text mode there is whitespace where a <p> used to be but HTML markup like <p> etc. is no longer visible.
    The page itself (in preview mode) is looking OK by the way, but it is not a nice way of working.

    The problem occurs only with newly created pages. My ‘old’ pages (created before the migration) are still displaying the <p> etc.

    Which plugins do you use? Is anything you use mentioned in “Known Issues” section of “Other Notes“? Can you reproduce this trouble under Twenty Fifteen and -X the only plugin?

    Hi,
    I don’t use many plugin’s, some Genesis plugin’s and Meteor slides, Duplicator and Advanced Code editor (but only to edit style.css etc. Not for pages / posts).
    I just tried Qtranslate X in a clean WP installation with the 2015 theme only, as you suggested. The problem didn’t occur, so the cause is not in your plugin itself.
    Maybe it’s the combination with the old Mqtranslate files / migration.

    I am having the same problem. When I deactive the plugin qtranslate-x the visual editor is working good, but when it is actived the editor not work in visual mode.

    It would help if you find out exactly which plugin is in conflict. For example, turn them on one by one starting from a clean working installation. If you find it, let me know the exact links where to get those conflicting plugin. Thanks a lot.
