    Hello,

we currently upgraded The Event Calendar to version 6.0.1 for a customer. The update itself went smooth but the migration gives following errors in the preview:

“Trying to get property ‘id’ of non-object”

Every listed event has the same error. We couldn’t find any information to this error. Furthermore the amount of events listed changes every time you run the preview. The events don’t have any blank fields and have a local timezone. We use WordPress 6.0.2 with PHP 7.4 and Events Calendar Pro. We don’t know where exactly to look now.
    Thank you in advance.

  • Hey @mosar

We are working on a fix for that migration error that is impacting some of our awesome users. We’ll report back here shortly as the fix is released.

    The good news is that:

    1. You should still be able to use your calendar normally until the migration is complete. You just won’t have access to the new features temporarily.
    2. You can sit back and wait for the release! Our apologies for the inconvenience.

    Hang in there!
    Geoff

Just wanted to note that we are getting the exact same error message on one of our client sites, but not in the preview, for us this is preventing the actual migration.

“Trying to get property ‘id’ of non-object”

Thanks in advance for keeping us updated on the fix.

Hi @evelynriossf, sorry to hear about this. We just recently released v6.0.1.1 for the Default The Events Calendar. Could you try updating and see if that fixes the issue?

Moreover, could you provide the versions of the following?
    1. PHP
    2. WordPress
    3. The Events Calendar (if you haven’t updated it)
    4. Theme and version

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Best,
    Abz

    Hi there,

We wanted to let you know with our latest release of?The Events Calendar 6.0.2; we resolved an issue that was causing error messages regarding “[Trying to get property ‘X’ of non-object]” that prevented migration from completing. Be sure to review our full?Release Notes?for more details and update your plugin at your earliest convenience.

As always, we suggest testing updates on a staging site first and having a recent backup, but it should all be smooth sailing. If you implemented any workarounds, you may remove them after updating the plugins.

If you still have issues after updating to the latest releases, please open a new forum thread and include any specific details and screenshots if possible.

    Have a great day,
    Gladys
