    Hi,

I am moving trypanama.com to https://optimizeddevelopment.net/trypanama/ to do some upgrades but I get

Warning: require(/home/newsites/public_html/trypanama/wp-includes/load.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/newsites/public_html/trypanama/wp-settings.php on line 21

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/home/newsites/public_html/trypanama/wp-includes/load.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/newsites/public_html/trypanama/wp-settings.php on line 21

I have copied WordPress websites many times before but never have I encountered this issue.

    Regards,

    Mike

Did you follow all of the relevant steps in Moving_WordPress?

    Hi Esmi,

Yes I did. The URLs are changed in the database.

I then normally use better serach replace to changes the posts but I cant access wp/admin either – although the folder is present.

This is why I am confused.

    Mike

The URLs are changed in the database.

What did you use to make the db changes?

    php my admin

That’s not the right way to do it as urls with serialized arrays will not be changed. Use one of the scripts recommended in Moving_WordPress.

    Hi,

I used the Migrate DB plugin to change the url in the original site and performed the migration again but the problem persists.

Where is Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/home/newsites/public_html/trypanama/wp-includes/load.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/newsites/public_html/trypanama/wp-settings.php on line 21

    coming from ?

    Mike

This error is occuring even when the website cannot connect to the database
