Migration and transferring data

    Hi there, noticed users are stored in WP Membership > Members and not in the default WP Users (WP > Users).

    In the event that we opt to transition to a different membership plugin, will all the data including user accounts (usernames and passwords), subscriber information, renewal dates, payment details, etc., be seamlessly migrated using WP All Import/Export or any other suitable tool?

    Yes, thanks! I see active/expired status but I didn’t see dates or date started to track renewals. Will that be exported?

    Hi, You can access all the data from your site’s database management tool (for example: PHPMyAdmin).

    The aforementioned exporter addon will also export the “access starts date” field. It is labeled as “subscripiton_starts” in the database table’s column.

    I don’t want to claim that everything will be seamlessly migrated since I don’t know about your expectation. I can only tell you that all the data is in your server’s database so you can do whatever you want with it. Feel free to install it on a test/staging wp site then you can create couple of test member records to see if things match with your expectation. If not, you can try an alternative.
