    I have a plugin, formerly called “Vixy YouTube Embed”, which embeds thru a shortcode with simply the video ID, example [youtube]dkkUff55[/youtube].

    Would it be possible to include this possibility in a new release of your plugin and as well as allow a user to choose the shortcode name?

    I have made and posted over 250 videos and it would be a big pain if I had to edit all to include the entire links… I suppose there are many people out there with the same problem which refrain them to migrate to your plugin.

    Hi again,

    The recent update to the plugin supports migration from the shortcode you described in your request. Look at the settings page under “Migration” and select the option.
