Hello, I’m using another plugin to embed videos on my blog and it requires me to just use this pattern
Is there any possibility to automatic change that string with your plugin handling?

Can I make a search & replace in the database for and replace with [embedyt]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v= and same for the closure, replace with [/embedyt]?

Hi davidebabylonia,

Your proposed approach should work assuming it’s constructed as described. Note that if you’re not doing any special formatting with your embeds (e.g. not adding page/line alignment HTML and/or embedding multiple videos on the same line), you do not have to use the [embedyt] code.

That is, if you are just doing basic embedding, then a YouTube link on its own line will do; i.e., Method 1 shown here: https://s.w.org/plugins/youtube-embed-plus/screenshot-1.jpg?r=1041649

The global settings that plugin offers will apply to either case.

Best of luck!
