Migrating UM Issues

    When I migrate/replicate a WP installation to another domain, UM loses all its settings and translated emails, so I have to set it up anew. Tried four times with one and the same result – I have to copy almost all settings and emails from the old site.

  • Im going to migrate myself once everything is done. so sorry for not being helpful, but how did you do the migration?

    Have you tried using a plugin like, All in one WP migration?

    via cpanel partial Backup and Restore function.

    full public_html directory backup and restore
    then db backup and restore – What I find/replace in the sql file is domain1.com with domain2.com

    The only thing that is lost in the process are the UM settings and data.

    Well, this time it was a success. Have no idea what was wrong with the last four migrations. One possible explanation is that I replaced only the name of the site and did not replace the domain.
