Migrating to another membership plugin

    Hi

    Thanks for this great looking plugin.

    I need to urgently migrate from Premise Membership plugin to yours.

    I have 600 members already subscribed through this Premise plugin with their WP logins etc.

    Will their login username and passwords still work for the new plugin?

    If not is there an easy way to migrate or transfer rights to all these subscribers?

    Hello @warrenlion,

    The username and password combination they use to login should still work with PMS.

    Adding the Subscription Data inside PMS needs to be done manually by going to PMS -> Members -> Add New. An alternative would be to setup the [pms-subscriptions] shortcode and have your users resubscribe and become a member inside PMS, but maybe they paid inside Premise and you need to give them the time left on their subscription as well.

    So as far as i understand if they have access I would still need to give each member access to the content they subscribed to? This will be done manually?

    Hello @warrenlion,

    Well, restricted content will need to be restricted again using PMS. This is done based on the Subscription Plans that you define inside PMS.
    Now, if a user wants to access that content, he needs to have the right Subscription Plan from PMS.
    In my other message I was talking about how you could make your users members inside the PMS system (this is what you need to do if you want to transfer them to PMS).
