My site “olddomain” lies on a VPS (Ubuntu). I want to migrate to another domain “newdomain” VPS (same IP). Therefore I have created a new WP installation under the new domain. When starting the migration progress I’ve presented migrate guru one after the other all possible strings to find the right path:

    /www/wwwroot/public_html/foldername
    /wwwroot/public_html/foldername
    /public_html/foldername
    /foldername

None of them works – I always get the same error message: “The specified directory does not exist on the destination server.” But it’s not true, the folder exists! I can access it via FileZilla.

Obviously migrate guru finds the server and my password seems to be correct. Where is the problem? Does anybody has an idea?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I finally found out that the problem was my fault. The ftp directory path was shorter than I thought. It was just “/” ??
