I’m migrating two Elementor-built pages with custom Header and Footer templates from one Elementor installation to another. The site the pages will be migrated to does have the same Elementor version and plugins. However, I notice there are subtle differences between the installations: the target site does not have Header, Footer, Single, and Archive tabs in the “Templates” section, so I cannot import custom headers or footers.

What’s more, even after I import the pages, the content is not visible. It seems the target site’s theme overrides everything. So instead of seeing any content from the migrated pages, all I see is the target site’s content/theme.

So I’m wondering if this is caused by the differences in themes and Elementor featured functionalities between the two.

    Appreciate some insight.

  • Hello there,
    Thank you for you patience!

This seems to be caused by one site using Elementor Pro and second one not using the Pro as Archive, Footer and etc are features of Elementor Pro.

So there’s no other way to migrate the data?
