• Hello friends

I have a situation I cannot think the solution for, maybe you can assist me with.

I created a clone copy of my site, develop it further and now I want to switch it as my production site.

Meantime new users registered on my production site and did some activity on my site (E-Learning site using LearnDASH LMS).

I’d like to transfer these new users to the development without changing anything for the other users.

    To illustrate:

I cloned Production site (A) into Development site (B)

Now I want to copy new users from the last month from site A to Site B

With the MetaData of the users as well.

I have access to myphpadmin, mysql via ssh

Tried doing this with plugins and just got even more confused.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Tom

  • You might already know the Cimy User Manager plugin will let you export/import users and you can sort them by date and even edit the import file before doing the import, but those users will almost certainly not be able to have their same user ID numbers upon import…and there is where you would likely lose their connections to content or other personal data you would need to import separately anyway. What you need is more like a selective merge of two databases that likely have different table_prefixes, and I would talk with the LearnDASH LMS folks who certainly should know how to deal with all of that.
