    Hello,

I’ve been a happy user of your Zerif lite theme for awhile. I’m changing my hosting provider and with that, I decided to re-make the site using the Neve theme. It’s much better!

My content is static. On Zerif lite most of the content was directly edited on the Customize link of the theme. The rest of my content is in 3 different Posts, each post with its Permalink. Whenever I wanted to show the content of single Post, I’d just refer to it’s Permalink and the Post would be shown on the same main page.

On Neve I notice I no longer edit the content on the Customize link, instead I have to create two pages: One for the main content and one for the Posts.

I notice the Posts page would show all posts, and what I want is to show a single post, depending on which button of the main page was clicked.

As a workaround to show a single post, I’ve been including in each post the part of the main page that I want to be always shown but I don’t think that’s the best solution performance wise since it reloads a content that was already loaded.

So my question is: What’s the best way to be able to publish on Neve a single post that not only includes the menu but also a section of the main page?

I hope my question is clear and thanks in advance for any help!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @leocertuche,

Neve is created differently from Zerif Lite that is why you cannot fully modify everything from the Customizer. I checked your site and it is still running on Zerif Lite. The menus are not linking to a single post page too but rather pointed to the sections of the frontpage.
You also have no section in the frontpage showing your latest posts.

Can you provide a screenshot on what you wanted to achieve so we can better understand your request?

    Hello danamv,

Thanks for your reply. I haven’t migrated the production environment to Neve yet, all testing has been done on an intranet environment but I think I can explain to you what I want to accomplish.

sueltele.com besides its homepage also has 3 different publications:
    https://www.sueltele.com/trail-riding/
    https://www.sueltele.com/trail-riding-shuttle-assisted/
    https://www.sueltele.com/all-inclusive-downhill/

This was accomplished creating 3 different posts. When published on Zerif, these posts share the same footer-with-3-widgets that appear with brown background.

I’d like to be able to make the same kind of publications on Neve.

I hope the explanation was clear.

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi @leocertuche,

I’m still not sure that I’m properly following your need. If you want to show separate posts that you created on your homepage and link to them, that, of course, depends on your homepage and where exactly you want to add links of them, however, let’s say you want to add them to your menu, so you go to Appearance->Menu section and add those items (posts) to your menu so all of them have their own permalinks.

This way you click on that item and your single post is opened.
