will this plugin migrate existing data from the WooCommerce Extra Cost plugin as it supposedly is the successor?

    Hello @apetruzzi,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

If existing extra fees are using from our plugin then, it will auto migrate but if you are using any other third-party plugin for the extra cost rules then you need to migrate those all rules in our plugin manually.

Our plugin is used to add the additional fees based on various rules mentioned in the key feature section of our plugin main page.

Let us know still you need any further assistance.

    Thanks,

We have installed the Conditional Product Fees For WooCommerce Checkout and none of the setting from the WooCommerce Extra Cost were migrated over. Is there something that we have to do in order for this to be done or do we have to just do it manually?

Just to clarify. What we are asking is that if a product had settings (like and Extra Shipping Cost) configured using the “WooCommerce Extra Cost” plugin, would those configurations be brought over to the “Conditional Product Fees For WooCommerce Checkout” plugin.

I have reviewed your query in detail and yes, you need to do it manually using our plugin, there is no data migration feature available in our current plugin version.

Sorry was out of town. Thank you for getting back to me. It’s disappointing that this plugin is promoted as the replacement for the WooCommerce Extra Cost plugin but doesn’t do the data migration. Might be something for a PRO feature in the future.
