migrating from mt – problems with htacess

    Hi I just imported a weblog from movable type. In the process all the posts permalinks changed, nothing wrong with that, they’re better now. But I have a problem with my .htacess file

    this is one of the redirect lines:

    Redirect 301 /webblogg/archives/000370.php /webblogg/2006/10/17/short-vs-broad-light/

    If I put this in the .htacess file I get a server error just trying to access the front page of the webblogg, not even trying to access 000370.php:

    [Fri Feb 16 00:18:35 2007] [alert] [client 213.112.235.132] /home/budda/www/htdocs/webblogg/.htaccess: Redirect to non-URL

    So from what I gather the webserver doesn’t like the virtual permanent links that wordpress creates and doesn’t trust me when I say this is the way it is…

    how can I fix this problem?
