    Hi there

Can you please advise if Formidable Forms can provide the following functionality:

We have a number of Excel based assessment tools which have predefined questions in multiple rows which we would like to migrate to an online web system. ?

The answers to questions in the spreadsheets are submitted by the user selecting an appropriate dropdown and providing comments in a separate column.

At the bottom of the assessment, a count of the number of each dropdown value is shown as a ‘Totals’ summary.  This is achieved using the COUNTIF function in Excel.

The questions need to be static, essentially HTML in a table, which can’t be changed by the user.  This is achieved in Excel by protecting the sheet at present.

Once the assessment has been completed, a report should be provided as a PDF document. It should be possible to view the submitted assessment and to possibly amend the data in the future.

Thanks in anticipation for your response.

    Kind regards

    John

    Hi @jcato,

Yes – Formidable could give you the same functionality in online forms as you currently have in your Excel setup.

Unfortunately, there is no way to automatically migrate. You would need to manually re-build forms in the Formidable ecosystem.

The PDF creation functionality would require the Business level license or above of our Pro plugin. Since we are only allowed to support the free “Lite” version of our plugin via WordPress forums, I would encourage you to open a presale ticket here if you have any further questions about this: https://formidableforms.com/new-topic/

    Best,
