Migrating data from free to premium

    Hi folks,

    We’ve got the free version of this plugin setup on a site with some existing eCards.

    We’re about to purchase and upgrade this to the premium version.

    (Q1)Am I correct in understanding that we simply need to login with the credentials used in buying the plugin, and premium will be activated?

    (Note: the accounts used in the free version and the one that the client will use for purchasing will be different)

    (Q2) Will the cards we customized be still there in the plugin, or will we need to recreate everything once we go premium?

    Hi Madhu,

    1. Premium will only be activated for ecards connected to the premium account. That means if you login with a free account and add ecards, then login with a with a premium account and add ecards, the ecards connected to the free account will have free limitations, while the ecards embedded from the premium account will have premium features. So technically you can have ecards from multiple accounts embedded on the same site with different plans attached.

    2. The plugin pulls the ecards from the account that is logged in, so if you want them to be on your client’s account then you would have to copy them over.
