• I am migrating Joomla content to WordPress. The wordpress site will replace the Joomla site – the Joomla version of the content will go away. I have moved all the content over and it now has wordpress links. I need to redirect the Worpress URLs to the form Joomla version. How can this be done for a large number of posts?

  • Um, did you say it backward? You need to redirect the Joomla URLs to the WordPress version, right?

It’s best if you have some sort of pattern, so you can redirect everything in just a few rules. If not, you’ll need to get a complete list of URLs from the old site, so you can point them individually to the new addresses.

Or were you actually asking about the links inside the content? If it’s content links, you can use a plugin like Search Regex to make the changes across the whole site.

You were right at the start. You responded to my other post resulting from this one. Looking for a way to gather up all URLs from both site and do a one for one redirect. Thanks X2!
