Migrating comments from one installation to another

  • Hi guys!

    I have two running sites that both have their content, users and comments. What I want to do now is move some comments on posts from one site to certain posts of the other site.

    Doing this manually with MySQL seems a bit fiddly because of comment_ID’s overlapping. Is there any easy way to accomplish my wish?

    I’m afraid not. This would be an extremely difficult and complex process to carry out manually.
