• Hey guys,

I would like to perform a massive migration of the content of our blog pages (www.xxx.com/blog/yyyy) to landing pages with a new design and consolidate them into topic clusters. So, I am looking for the most productive way to do this:

-How to migrate the content programmatically.
-How to make sure the redirects to new pages are done properly.

The new pages should follow a new structure https://www.xxx.com/zzz/yyyy
And https://www.xxx.com/zzz will be custom pages as well (not blog category pages)

    Thank you.

See the moving directories section of the Moving WordPress support page.

You can setup 301 redirects in the .htaccess file to send requests using the old format to the new location. The restructuring of permalinks should be rigidly consistent so that one redirect algorithm can handle any valid request. You don’t want to have a separate redirect rule for every page because the permalink changes were inconsistent.
