Migrating a php website to a new wordpress sie

  • hello, I currently have a website using the lousy and buggy WoWonder php social network script, and I want to migrate to a WordPress site, but continue to use the same domain name Is there anything in Updraft or Updraft Premium that will allow me do to accomplish this smoothly? If not, can you please suggest a solution.

    Hi,

    I’m afraid you cannot use UpdraftPlus to migrate a php coded website to a WordPress website. That has to be manually coded and migrated to WordPress.

    UpdraftPlus can only backup, restore or migrate a WordPress website if a website crash or has to be moved to a new domain/location.
