    Hello.

I have imported a few pods from another site in the attempt to import/export all the custom post types and theirs posts in to another website. In the first site all the CPTs are visible in the admin menu, however importing their settings from one website to another doesn’t have the same outcome. On the new websites the CPTs are not visible in the admin menu (and yes the Show Admin UI and Show Admin Menu in Dashboard options are both checked).

What made me think, is I tried accessing the menu by url (I copied the suffix of the url from the one website to another) by adding wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=cpt_name to the URL and I get an error screen that says something for not having the right amount of access level, to access this CPT (the error is not in English since I am building this website in Greek). However I am an administrator in this project.

Any ideas what is happening here?

PS: I tried creating a new pod as a test and in shows immediately in the admin menu.

Try checking permissions for the CPT under Pods Admin > Components > Roles & Capabilities. Try the repair tool under Pods Admin > Settings > Tools.

Yes, it was a permissions problem, for some unclear reason. Even though I made a Pod in the same installation and had no problems. Maybe this happens only with migrated content?

Anyway, I used a plugin for adding the pods capabilities to the users I wanted, but also by using the component Roles & Capabilities you might get the same result.
