• Hey everyone,

I just bought a new server for my sites. The old one ran Centos 4 with PHP4, the new one runs Centos 5 with PHP5.

I have 30 wordpress blogs, php image galleries etc and I have moved a number using the plesk migration manager, which worked great.

But now when I go to any of the moved blogs, rather than loading the php page, it asks me to save the file you have chosen to open “application/x-httpd-php”.

I’m sure this is something to do with the php4 / php5. But I’m not sure how to fix it.

Fresh uploaded wordpress works fine. But how can i fix my existing sites? I have many so a fresh install and manually upload of data is far from ideal.

    Many thanks for your help!

  • Hi,

Migrate your wordrpess to PHP4 to PHP5 and disable all the plugins and have a check with your blog. After that enable plugins one by one to find out the culprit.

    Thanks,

Thanks a lot for your help.

It turned out to be a setting in the plesk migration manager. Basically needed to tell it to use the original data, but new server settings.

    Cheers
