“Migrate Theme Settings” whats is this?

Hello,
after updates and routine cleaning I went back in to “Appearances” and “Migrate Theme Settings” is where “Editor” should be… I have back ups of both my database and content but I have never seen this before. It gives me two choices:

Import settings from the parent theme

Use this tool to migrate your existing settings from the parent theme to your child theme.

Note that in doing this, your database will be modified. Any existing settings that have already been configured for the current theme will be overwritten.

I have backed up my database. (How?)

Restore previous theme settings

Use this tool to restore settings that were previously overwritten when importing parent theme settings.

Can anyone Please let me know what to do? I have two years worth of tweaks in my child theme and I’d hate to lose them.
