Hi, on our website we use Tablepress to list all our products and datasheets. We are in the process of designing a new website on a staging domain.

So that we don’t have to recreate all the tables and re-add all the links to datasheets, is it possible to export the plugin and all the current tables from the current site and import them onto the staging site? So that all we will thenneed to do is add the short code for each onto the new pages.

    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

The quickest way for that is to just go to the “Export” screen of TablePress and export all tables to the JSON format. You will then get a ZIP file with all tables (including their settings).

Then, on the new site, go to the “Import” screen and import that ZIP file. All tables will then be just like on the original site, with the same table IDs.

If you also have “Custom CSS” code on the original site, copy that to the new site as well, on the “Plugin Options” screen.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
