Migrate subscription from Stripe A to Stripe B

If you’re switching from one Stripe account to another Stripe account, you will want to work with Stripe to ensure they migrate your payment methods and customers from account A to account B.

That will ensure there are no disruptions to your subscriptions.

Here is what happens if you don’t request Stripe to migrate your customers and payment methods to the new account:

1. You switch to the new account.
2. The plugin attempts to process a renewal payment using the assigned customer and payment method.
3. The renewal payment fails because the customer ID and payment method ID don’t exist in the new account.

That is why it’s very important that you ask Stripe to migrate your data to the new account before you switch.

So without stripe intervention, its not possible to make migration?

I heard many times some people saving the data directly on their woocommerce system so they can continue making charges even if they connect a new account.

Please let me know if there is any other alternatives

No, not if you’re wanting to migrate your customer’s payment methods which in your case you would since you have active subscriptions.

Stripe will have to migrate the customers and payment methods from account A to account B. That way, everything will continue to process seamlessly for you.
